“The Deal Stream Summit presents a great opportunity to interact with technologists from the national labs, entrepreneurs and the business ecosystem supporting commercialization. The summit represents the unique convergence of all stakeholders interested in building great businesses coming out of the labs.” Randy Hawks |
Technology Ventures Corporation's Deal Stream Summit serves as a vehicle to facilitate private investment partnerships between emerging technologies within the lab, start-ups and innovators. Through the years, this conference has allowed for hundreds of companies to receive funding and fueled the commercialization of laboratory R&D and IP. With unique challenges facing the innovation landscape and investment arena, traditional early stage VCs and corporate strategics are embracing avenues to cultivate cutting-edge technology and serve the entrepreneurial partner. Given this, venture investors and corporations are identifying promising technologies harvested within national research labs, innovation centers, and government agencies, as well as surveying next generation start-ups and business models, for potential investments.
Given TVC's unique position in the market to support technology commercialization and startup initiatives, we are proud to continue the tradition of fostering investment partnerships between private equity professionals, national laboratories and startups through the presentation of the Deal Stream Summit in New Mexico, April 2-4 at the Hyatt Tamaya near Albuquerque, NM.
This annual conference is focused on starting, building and financing research-based technology, as well as startups and entrepreneurship from the lab.
In-depth dialogue on term structures, deal partnerships, investment approaches and best practices to serve the innovator will be addressed at length, and the most promising business models and emerging growth companies will be displayed.
Audience Profile: venture capitalists, startups, research & development scientists, DOE laboratory technology, tech transfer executives from government and national labs, licensing officers, private equity investors, corporate development and new business development executives, corporate investors, corporate counsel, and spinout companies. This conference has both a life sciences and technology focus and will feature CEOs in the presenting company showcase.
