DOE Lab Posters 2012
Technology Ventures Corporation (TVC) invites staff members employed at Department of Energy research laboratories to apply to present posters of technologies with potential for commercialization at our Deal Stream Summit in New Mexico to be held April 3-5, 2012 at the Hyatt Tamaya Resort, Santa Ana Pueblo, NM. Selected applicants will meet venture capitalists, corporate investors, angels, business owners, and entrepreneurs who are focused upon commercializing promising technologies. Collaboration with business experts within the private sector will accelerate partnerships, intellectual property development, licensing, work for others, cooperative research and development agreements,
and other technology commercialization initiatives.
Program Details
• Non-proprietary poster applications are due to TVC on Friday, January 27, 2012.
• Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by Friday, February 10, 2012.
• One complimentary symposium registration valued at $695 will be offered for each selected poster.
• Selected posters will be featured in Innovation, America's Journal of Technology Commercialization, distributed to over 17,000 readers worldwide.
Submission to Present
Applicants must propose one technology per poster and include the following information:
1. Provide investigator name, title, laboratory, address, city, state, zip code, telephone, email, and fax.
2. Provide a descriptive poster title, e.g., Lasonix: Growing Electronics in Three Dimensions.
3. Describe the technology.
4. Who will be interested in this research and why?
5. Describe potential commercial markets and applications (please be as specific as possible).
6. When will the technology be ready for commercialization?
7. How much investment and time are needed to advance the technology to commercial markets?
8. Describe intellectual property position or strong potential for generation of new intellectual property.
