John Freisinger, Director, Business Assistance
Mr. Freisinger possesses a candid, high-energy style that benefits entrepreneurs who need assistance crafting their visions into commercially viable business strategies. Throughout his career he has worked primarily with startup organizations and is well-versed in the challenges associated with nascent enterprises. Prior to joining TVC, Mr. Freisinger served in many executive capacities including COO, VP of sales and marketing, VP of business development, and head of mergers and acquisitions for numerous technology startups. He has a successful track record of helping to structure companies for equity funding and acquisition. He also has experience in such diverse industries as hotel management, beverage sales, library sciences, informatics, computer-aided whole-language translation, computer systems integration, supercomputing, video and film post production, oil and gas exploration, and home automation. He has a B.A in Economics from the University of New Mexico.

Suzanne Roberts, Director, Business Assistance
Ms. Roberts works with entrepreneurs to help them realize the potential of their technologies by developing sound business cases for equity investors. Her current focus is accelerating the commercialization of clean energy technologies, including renewables, microturbines, fuel cells, power quality, energy efficiency, alternative fuels, transportation and energy-related e-commerce and information technologies. Ms. Roberts has experience within the aerospace and defense industries where she has managed initiatives for engineering firms in the areas of strategic planning, technology commercialization and proposal and business plan development. Ms. Roberts holds a BA from Tulane University and a MA from the University of New Mexico.

Andrew Salazar, Director, Business Assistance
Mr. Salazar brings a broad range of commercial experience to assist start-ups in structuring a realistic approach to success. He has held responsibilities in a variety of disciplines including management positions in engineering, manufacturing, finance, sales and economic development. Throughout his career, Mr. Salazar has focused on bringing together the top-flight resources needed for business success. He has a BSME with an EE option from General Motors Institute and a MBA from Stanford University. Andrew is a member of the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Biotechnology and Biomedical Association (NMBio), New Mexico Math, Science and Engineering Achievement (NM MESA), and Hogares, Inc. He also serves on the New Mexico Small Business Innovative Research Board of Advisors.

Bruce Winchell, Director, Business Assistance
Mr. Winchell is a registered patent attorney in the United States, a registered patent agent in Canada, and licensed to practice law before several states’ courts and federal courts in the United States. He assists clients with their business case preparation, intellectual property strategies, and frequently presents in entrepreneurial seminars. He has practiced intellectual property law, government contracts law and technology business law for several elements of the Lockheed Martin Corporation and the Martin Marietta Corporation. Mr. Winchell earned a BS in chemistry, a BA in speech, and a JD in law. He has taught business law, government contracts law, intellectual property law, and e-business law for several law schools and MBA programs.
