Companies to Present at TVC’s 17th Annual Investor Forum
January 13, 2010
Companies will present their business cases before investors at the 17th annual Technology Ventures Equity Capital Symposium, May 19-20, at the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque.
The annual forum provides investors throughout the U.S. and abroad the opportunity to invest in companies that are commercializing cutting-edge technologies developed in the national laboratories, universities and other research institutions.
At the May event, each entrepreneur will have ten minutes on stage to present the company’s business case to the assembled investors. The presenting companies are commercializing the latest technologies in life sciences, electronics/instrumentation, energy/agriculture, and information technology/software.
Their goal is to raise equity capital for their new company, and their chances are good in New Mexico. Nationally, one entrepreneur in a thousand will receive seed equity funding. “We have an unparalleled record. One out of every three TVC Symposium presenters has received funding. It is our unique pleasure to be a part of these growing, expanding companies and their success; and the Symposium is the catalyst for that opportunity,” says Sherman McCorkle, TVC President & CEO.
