E-Fuel Adopts Enerpulse
April 15, 2010
Albuquerque-based Enerpulse Inc., announced that their proprietary Pulstar® pulse plugs have been adopted by E-Fuel of Los Gatos, California. The Pulstar plugs will be used in equipment fueled by E-Fuel’s proprietary Microfueler that converts organic feedstock into ethanol, or E-Fuel. Initially, the Pulstar® pulse plug will be used in a factory generator called Grid Buster, specifically designed to operate on E100. This combination has a value proposition of creating electricity for $.02/kW·h. By producing and utilizing ethanol at the source of the feed stocks, transportation costs are eliminated bringing the cost of the fuel below that of commercially produced ethanol. Enerpulse was a presenter at the 2003 and 2006 TVC symposia. For more information, visit http://www.pulstar.com.
